American Idol Fan

Hi Jessica! Just thought I would let you know that it was announced that Bono (one of many in a long list of participants) is teaming up with American Idol in a charitable outreach. I think it is really cool. I know he does some really good things, and I would like to listen to a recording of what was played at your church. The people at American Idol feel that they have been so blessed financially by the success of the show that they want to DO something to help others. They are going to be reaching out to the poor and destitute in Africa and also in America. The nights this will be featured on include April 24 and 25. They will give a certain amount of money for every vote called in. It is exciting to think about the lives that will be changed through these efforts. Kudos also for Coca Cola and the Ford Companies as they were also listed as being involved in this effort. There is an article explaining it all on the American Idol web site.
